Inspired by Swaetshirt’s speedpainting, here’s one of my reoccurring dream scapes.
My dreams often revolve around infinitely large mazes, tunnels or buildings and this is one of them. In this particular dream I’m always slowly paddling on a kayak and looking for something.

I was tempted to use this reblog as an excuse to go into a massive dreamscape rant. But maybe just condensed to one thingy for now.
Isn’t it strange, when the mind chooses to recall dreams you’ve in some way remembered but forgotten? There are dreams and dream imagery I can always call to the front of my mind (brain keyword - spiders brings anywhere from 3-6, emotional response brings 2 at first, architecture brings a few with neat victorian treehouses)

But then there are times, when you’re going about your day, sitting in unrelated thought, and among the files of thought to be plopped down upon your desk of current consciousness, an old dream is amongst them. And for a small swell you get an old flavor of the mood, the aura, the atmosphere and location of the thing, like a last bit of alfredo sauce you scrape onto the edge of your fork once the pasta’s long gone.

And, unless you assign some keyword of importance to them, they’re gone to the back of your mind again.

They’re some of my largest, most meaningful and warmest memories and I treasure every moment they break into life’s den of mediocrity to suggest something greater if fleeting and intangible taking place :)

I envy your ability to share these images. Mine morph in the 4th dimension and it’s hard to choose a frame to bring forward.
